This week, Econsultancy reported that “Luxury goods sales through Rakuten LinkShare UK increased 96% in January 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.”
Rakuten LinkShare UK said they believe the increase is due to the new, more sophisticated Publisher models and also the luxury brands smarter e-commerce marketing techniques.
Rakuten LinkShare UK also found that clicks across the network were also up 37%, suggesting that users spend more time searching online for the best deals before making a purchase.
