Some Cool Updates to LinkShare TweetShop

We’ve made some enhancements to TweetShop, our Bento Box tool to find the products you’re looking for and share them on Twitter, all from one interface.

  1. We’re using OAuth for authentication.  This means that when you give LinkShare permission to access your Twitter account, you won’t have to re-enter your Twitter account information every time you use TweetShop.
  2. You’ll only see Advertisers in the drop down menu in step two that you have a relationship with (we’ve rolled this update out in Link Lookup and Dealfeed for WordPress, too).

Twitter can be a great platform for sharing product and Advertiser recommendations with your friends and followers.

You can use TweetShop here and read more on our original announcement.  I’ve re-posted the video demo below.

If there are other Bento Box apps or enhancements you’d like to see, please leave a comment below!

  1. Can somebody recommend a software to schedule twits?

The software I tried I didn’t like – my twits were truncated or they were repeated three times instead of once (I don’t know why Twitter allowed it).
    Any suggestions?

  2. Hi Neriah,

Not sure if I understand you correctly, nevertheless, if you just want your tweets to show up on your website, all you need to do is embed the twitter widget on your website. It’s a very simple process.

    1) Click here http://twitter.com/goodies/widgets to grab your twitter html code. Copy code.

    2) Paste the html code onto your web site page and you are good to go! Now all your tweets will appear on your web site!

    Hope this helped. Good luck!

  3. I would really appreciate something that would allow my tweets to show up on my website. I have an information & resource site for green sustainability, if my tweets (all green-sustainable oriented) were also showing on the website then I would be able to catch visitors with the content I have on twitter showing.I use Hootsuite to schedule tweets, and I use Google Alerts to grab the latest news on my sustainbility topics. So, I have really dynamite state-of-the-art content on my tweets. Peppering those tweets with ads from my LinkShare partners will make us all more money. THANKS
